Dear INSciTS Community and Colleagues,

The 2023 Science of Team Science Planning Committee is pleased to announce the call for abstracts for the 2023 INSciTS Conference, to be held in Bethesda, MD, USA, from July 24-26.

The INSciTS Annual Conference is the flagship event of the International Network for the Science of Team Science (INSciTS). It continues to be the premier annual gathering of scholars, practitioners, and providers in the field of Team Science, bringing together a broad range of disciplines to share and advance the latest evidence-based methods in team collaboration and transdisciplinary science. Speakers and attendees will include investigators, administrators, students, funders, and policymakers. Our community includes academia, government, industry, and many other sectors, and spans a multitude of knowledge domain spaces. Anyone interested in improving collaborative research and discovery is welcome!

All abstracts must be submitted online through the main conference portal here. Proposals should fit into one of four formats:

The final deadline for workshop submissions is May 1, 2023. The final deadline for papers, panels, and posters is May 12, 2023.  DEADLINE EXTENDED THROUGH MAY 18, 2023. A full listing of submission instructions can be found here. Please consider all instructions when preparing your abstract submission.

INSciTS 2023 will take place in vibrant downtown Bethesda, MD, proximal to the nation’s leading universities and federal research sponsors, and a short subway ride to the world-famous museums and galleries of Washington, DC. We have worked hard to design a conference for both those who wish to return to the rich experience of in-person conferences.

Thank you,
INSciTS 2023 Program Planning Committee

Join an INSciTS Special Interest Group

INSciTS Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are member-led groups that provide a “home within a home” for INSciTS members to connect and collaborate with colleagues with shared interests in the SciTS field. SIGs help to build community around shared interests and aligned activities, enable collaboration throughout the year, advance key priority areas in the SciTS field, and create opportunities to engage with external groups. Currently active SIGs address: changing academic culture to foster team science (TS) success; creating incubator spaces for TS; training for TS; scientometrics, network analysis, and data visualization; and emerging careers.  To learn more, please click on the button below.
